1794-IE8H Description

The 1794-IE8H is an advanced HART-capable analog input module 

designed to support the Highway Addressable Remote Transducer (HART) 

communication protocol. This high-resolution module is capable of both bipolar 

and unipolar configurations, offering versatile functionality for industrial applications.

Featuring eight (8) non-isolated, single-ended analog inputs, the module supports 

analog signal ranges of 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA. It delivers a 16-bit resolution with

 an accuracy of 0.1% Full Scale at 20 °C (68°F) and offers temperature accuracy 

drift of 0.05% Full Scale for operating temperatures between 0 °C and 55 °C (32...131 °F).

With HART protocol integration, this module allows for seamless communication 

with 4-20 mA analog instrumentation loops, providing real-time data and operational

 state access. It is compatible with communication adapters such as ControlNet, Ethernet, 

and ProfiBus adapters, specifically with a catalog number 1794-APBDV1, ensuring smooth 

integration with Series B systems.
