990-04-50-01-00 Bently Nevada Description

The 990 vibration transmitter is primarily designed for use by original 

equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of centrifugal air compressors, small 

pumps, motors, or fans. OEMs prefer to provide a simple 4 to 20 mA 

proportional vibration signal as an input for their mechanical control systems. 

This transmitter is a two-wire, loop-powered device that accepts input from the 

3300 NSv* proximity probe and its matching extension cables (with available 

system lengths of 5 meters and 7 meters).

The transmitter conditions the signal into the appropriate peak-to-peak vibration 

amplitude engineering units and provides the value as a 4 to 20 mA proportional 

industrial standard signal for input into the control system for mechanical protection 

alarms and logic.
