BENTLY NEVADA 330850-50-05 Description

330850-50-00 is a Proximitor Sensor manufactured by Bently Nevada in the series 

of 3300 XL NSv used to control the vibration monitoring systems. The 330850-50-00 

3300 XL NSv Proximity Transducer system is designed for space-constrained centrifugal 

air compressors, refrigeration compressors, process gas compressors, and other 

devices.
The 3300 XL NSv Transducer System is designed to replace both the 3300 RAM 

Transducer System and the 3000 series or 7000 series. With the 3300 XL NSv 

Proximity Sensor, upgrades from the 3300 RAM system to the 3300 XL NSv system 

can use the current probe, extension connection, and monitoring system.

The 3300 XL NSv Proximity Sensor shares many of the same features as the 3300 XL 

8 mm Proximity Sensor. It can be put in either a high-density DIN-rail or a more 

traditional panel-mount arrangement due to its thin construction.
This RFI immunity also protects the transducer system from high-frequency radio 

waves from the environment. No special equipment is required to install the

 Proximity Sensor terminal strips, which allow for faster and more reliable field 

wiring connections.

The 3300 XL 50 mm Transducer System consists of a separate 50 mm probe, an 

extension cable, and a 3300 XL 50 mm Proximitor Sensor. The large diameter coil 

gives this system a maximum linear range of 27.9 mm (1100 mils), the longest linear 

range of our eddy current transducer line. This linear range makes the 3300 XL 

50 mm Transducer System ideal for measuring the differential expansion (DE) 

or rotor expansion (RX) of large steam turbine generators that results from the 

difference in growth rates between the turbine rotor and the machine stator (casing).
