The 3300 XL 25 mm Transducer System is composed of three components: a 25 mm 

probe, an extension cable, and a 3300 XL 25 mm Proximitor Sensor. This system 

provides an output of 0.787 V/mm (20 mV/mil), resulting in a linear measurement

range of 12.7 mm (500 mils).

With this linear range, the 3300 XL 25 mm Transducer System is ideal for 

monitoring differential expansion (DE) in midsize to large steam turbine generators. 

It measures the difference in growth rates between the turbine rotor and the machine 

stator (casing).

The 3300 XL 25 mm Proximitor Sensor offers the same advanced features as its 

predecessors in the 3300 XL series. Its slim design supports versatile installation 

options, including high-density DIN-rail configurations or traditional panel mounting.

Enhanced RFI/EMI immunity enables the sensor to meet European CE mark 

requirements without requiring special mounting considerations. This improved 

immunity also protects the transducer system from interference caused by nearby 

high-frequency radio signals. Additionally, the Proximitor Sensor is equipped with 

terminal strips, which eliminate the need for special tools and ensure faster, more 

reliable field wiring connections.
