The 3300 XL 25 mm Transducer System consists of three key components: 

the 25 mm probe, an extension cable, and the 3300 XL 25 mm Proximitor Sensor. 

It offers a linear range of 12.7 mm (500 mils), with an output of 0.787 V/mm 

(20 mV/mil), making it ideal for applications such as measuring differential 

expansion (DE) in midsize to large steam turbine generators. This system measures 

the difference in growth rates between the turbine rotor and the machine stator 

(casing), ensuring accurate monitoring in critical machinery applications.

In comparison to other systems, the 3300 XL offers a reliable, linear output for 

precise differential expansion measurement and is designed to withstand the rigors 

of industrial environments, offering robust performance in steam turbine 

applications.
