BENTLY NEVADA 330904-04-14-05-02-00 Description
The 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor shares many features with the 3300 XL
8 mm Proximitor Sensor. Its slim design enables flexible installation options,
including high-density DIN-rail or traditional panel mount configurations. The
sensor’s enhanced RFI/EMI immunity ensures that it meets European CE mark
approvals without requiring special mounting considerations. This immunity also
protects the transducer system from interference caused by nearby high-frequency
radio signals.
The sensor is equipped with SpringLoc terminal strips, which require no special
tools for installation, making field wiring connections quicker and more secure.
These robust connections ensure a reliable and efficient installation process.
The primary uses of the 3300 XL NSv Transducer System are for applications
where counter bore, sideview, or rearview restrictions make it difficult to use
standard Bently Nevada 3300 and 3300 XL 5 and 8 mm Transducer Systems.
It is particularly well-suited for small target applications, such as measuring radial
vibration on shafts smaller than 51 mm (2 in) or axial position on flat targets smaller
than 15 mm (0.6 in).
It is commonly used in the following applications for fluid-filmed bearing machines
with small shafts or reduced side-view:
Radial vibration and radial position measurements
Axial (thrust) position measurements
Tachometer and zero speed measurements
Phase reference (Keyphasor signals)
