The 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System consists of:
One 3300 XL 8 mm probe,
One 3300 XL extension cable1, and
One 3300 XL Proximitor' Sensor.

The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to thedistance 

between the probe tip and the observed conductive surfoce ond canmeasure both 

static lposition) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system'sprimary applications are 

vibration and position measurements on fluid-filmbearing machines, as well as Keyphasor"

The 330103-00-08-15-02-05 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor incorporates numerous improvements overprevious 

designs. lts physical packaging allows you to use it in high-density DlN.roil installotions. You can also mount 

the sensor in a traditional ponel mountconfiguration, where it shares an identical 4-hole mounting "footprint" 

with olderProximitor Sensor designs. The mounting base for either option provideselectrical isolotion and 

eliminotes the need for separate isolotor plates. The 3300XL Proximitor Sensor is highly immune to radio 

frequency interference, allowingyou to install it in fiberglass housings without adverse effects from nearby 

radiofrequency signals. The 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor's improved RFl/EMl immunitysatisfies European CE 

mark opprovals without requiring speciol shielded conduior metallic housings, resulting in lower installation 

costs and complexity.
The 330103-00-08-15-02-05 3300 XL's SpringLoc terminal strips require no speciol installotion tools andfacilitate 

faster, more robust field wiring connections by eliminating screw-typeclamping mechanisms that con loosen.
