The 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System consists of:
One 3300 XL 8 mm probe,
One 3300 XL extension cable1, and
One 3300 XL Proximitor' Sensor.

The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to thedistance 

between the probe tip and the observed conductive surfoce ond canmeasure both 

static lposition) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system'sprimary applications are 

vibration and position measurements on fluid-filmbearing machines, as well as Keyphasor" 

reference and speed measurements:The 3300 XL 8 mm system delivers the most advonced 

performance in our eddycurrent proximity transducer systems. The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 

5-metresystem also fully complies with the American Petroleum Institute's (APl) 670Standard 

(4t Edition) for mechanical configurotion, lineor range, accuracy, andtemperature stability,

complete interchangeability of probes,extension cables, ond Proximitor sensors, eliminating 

the need to match orbench calibrate individual components.

Each 330101-00-47-90-02-00 3300 XL8 mm Transducer System component is backward-compatible 

andinterchangeable* with other non-XL 3300 series 5 mm ond 8 mm tronsducersystem componentss. 

This compatibility includes the 3300 5 mm probe, forapplications in which an 8 mm probe is too large 

for the available mountingspace.

The 330101-00-47-90-02-00 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor incorporates numerous improvements

RFl/EMl immunitysatisfies European CE mark opprovals without requiring speciol shielded conduior metallic 

housings, resulting in lower installation costs and complexity.
The 330101-00-47-90-02-00 3300 XL's SpringLoc terminal strips require no speciol installotion tools 

andfacilitate faster, more robust field wiring connections by eliminating screw-typeclamping mechanisms
