BENTLY NEVADA 21000-16-10-00-124-03-02 Description

The 21000 and 24701 Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies are available with 

Canadian Standards Association (CSA) approvals, making them explosion-proof 

for hazardous area applications. These housings can be paired with CSA-approved 

proximity probes for intrinsically safe applications.

Both the 21000 aluminum and 24701 stainless steel housings are certified as CSA 

Type 4 enclosures and fully comply with the American Petroleum Institute's (API) 

670 Standard for externally mounted proximity probe housings.

For applications with space constraints, the 164818 Compact Proximity Probe Housing 

is also available, compatible with ceramic-capped probes.

Key Features:

Sleeve lengths are determined by the installation location, ensuring the probe lead is 

longer than the sleeve.
Sleeves longer than 304 mm (12 inches) require additional support to minimize 

vibration from unsupported lengths.
For extended sleeves passing through inner bearing housings, Bently Nevada offers 

a probe support and oil seal (Part Number: 37948-01) or custom sleeve supports tailored 

to specific requirements.
These housing solutions are designed for durability, reliability, and compliance with 

stringent industrial standards, ensuring optimal performance in critical 

monitoring applications.
